I got so tired of basic clothing. I used to love crop top an ripped jeans because they looked cool. Don't get me wrong they still do. But as I got older, I got tired of "cool". I wanted fun, pretty, breath taking, jaw dropping,  fairy tale feeling.

 

I'd always wear makeup just to feel pretty. One day I watched a movie with women in these gorgeous gowns. The amount of detail was breathe taking. NOT JUST THE WOMEN but the men's... oh my Lord. The men looked like kings straight out of a movie, oh wait... this was a movie.

I grew up watching movies with my grandma that where old fashioned. The men wore hats and women did too. I remember asking grandma, "Why don't we dress like that anymore? We'd all feel like princesses?" She responded, "I don't know. Times change."

Times change? Times change?!!!!

You mean to tell me, great grandpa lived in with men in formal suits and handsome manners while women lived in giant, jaw dropping Dresses like they where all princesses to now men with no manners and showing up in hoodies and sweats to a date and same for the girls... ALL IN HIS ONE LIFETIME?!

One could say I'm onto nothing because not many realized this but hear me out.

 

That was 50 years ago! 100 depending on the clothing we're looking at. But ONE life time! 

And now we dress like we didn't just wake up another day!

Why aren't we formal anymore? Classy? Pretty? Handsome? Through our clothing?

​

I always say, dress to impress. 

Be fashionably late.

"Why are you dressed up today?" Erm... I woke up to live another day. And so did you, so why aren't you dressed up:(???
